Project Overview
Stickers that harness cloud seeding technology to create a surface finish that helps regenerate snowfall in mountain regions.
Snow Seeds uses modified inks to create a finishing system that harnesses and creates advancements in ground-based cloud seeding technology to regenerate snowfall in mountain areas.

The finish can be applied to any surface that comes into contact with snow, with stickers being a low barrier to entry for initial investment
Multiple studies from across the world have provided reliable and consistent data showing increasing winter temperatures along with reduced snowfall quality and quantity.

Ski resorts have been increasingly reliant on snowmaking technologies since the 1990s to help with snow depth and snow feel on their slopes. Despite consistent development and upgrades, these machines are heavy users of local sources of water and of the power grid.

The project aims to use the spokespeople, the snow athlete and adventurer communities themselves, to use the solution to create a regenerative impact on the mountains.
Studies have also shown a consistent decrease in the groundwater levels due to climate change and changing snowpack, which has adverse effects on the communities and economic activities in the mountains and connected areas.

The images are a reflection of many ski resorts in the winter, with the slopes looking bare and dry.

Looking at the future with a more optimistic view, we can use the power of human activity to protect glaciers and snowpack by regenerating snowfall patterns
